DIRECTIONS
From Brooklyn, Queens, & Throgs Neck Bridge
Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 20 South. This is Grand
Avenue in Baldwin going south. You will go south on Grand Avenue for
approximately 2.5 miles, crossing Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road.
Immediately after crossing Merrick Road, Foxhurst Road bears to the
right. Continue on Foxhurst Road. to the second light located at the
corners of Foxhurst and Oceanside Roads. Turn left at this light, go a
short block and turn left onto Amos Avenue. The white church on your
left is the First Presbyterian Church at Christian Hook. The parking
lot of the church is on your left. There is handicapped parking
available.
From Eastern Long Island and the Meadowbrook Parkway
Go South on the Meadowbrook Parkway to the Southern State Parkway.
Turn right going west on the Southern State Parkway to Exit 20 South
which turns into Grand Avenue. You will go south on Grand Avenue for
approximately 2.5 miles, crossing Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road.

right. Continue on Foxhurst Road. to the second light located at the

From Merrick or Freeport, New York Using Sunrise Highway...
Go west on Sunrise Highway to the intersection of Grand Avenue.
Turn left onto Grand Avenue and stay on Grand Avenue until you cross
Merrick Road. Immediately after crossing Merrick Road, Foxhurst Road
bears to the right. Contunue on Foxhurst Road. to the second light
located at the corners of Foxhurst and Oceanside Roads. Turn left at
this light, go a short block and turn left onto Amos Avenue. The white
church on your left is the First Presbyterian Church at Christian
Hook.
Using Merrick Road...
Go west on Merrick to the intersection of Grand Avenue. Turn left
onto Grand Avenue and immediately bear right onto Foxhurst Road.
Contunue on Foxhurst Road. to the second light located at the corners
of Foxhurst and Oceanside Roads. Turn left at this light, go a short
block and turn left onto Amos Avenue. The white church on your left is
the First Presbyterian Church at Christian Hook.
From Valley Stream, Lynbrook, or Rockville Centre using Sunrise
Highway...
Go east on Sunrise Highway to the intersection of Oceanside Road.
Turn right just past the Taco Bell onto Oceanside Road crossing
Merrick Road and passing South Nassau Community Hospital which is on
your left. Continue on Oceanside Road until it intersects with
Foxhurst Road. Go one short block past the intersection and turn left
onto Amos Avenue and go into the parking lot. Notice the white church
on your left. It is the First Presbyterian Church at Christian Hook.
using Merrick Road...
Go east on Merrick Road to the intersection of Oceanside Road. Turn
right onto Oceanside Road and pass South Nassau Community Hospital.
Continue on Oceanside Road until it intersects with Foxhurst Road. Go
one short block past the intersection and turn left onto Amos Avenue
and go into the parking lot. Notice the white church on your left.
From Long Beach or Island Park
Go north on Long Beach Road from Long Beach and from Island Park
through most of Oceanside. Continue to the intersection of Foxhurst
Road. When you turn right onto Foxhurst Road you will be between The
American Waffle House on the right and Towers Funeral Home on the
left. Continue one full block to Oceanside Road turning right at the
light. Continue one short block and turn left onto Amos Avenue and go
into the parking lot. Notice the white church on your left.
